Dubai Chocolate Bar

Dubai chocolate bar with pistachio filling and gold leaf

This Dubai Chocolate Bar Recipe blends rich Middle Eastern flavors like saffron, cardamom, and rose with nutty textures and sweet notes from pistachio cream and kataifi. A luxurious, elegant dessert that feels like an edible cultural escape.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Toasted Kataifi Dough
  • Sweet Pistachio Cream
  • 1 tbsp Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Pinch of Fine Sea Salt
  • High-Quality Chocolate (dark or milk)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shredded kataifi dough and toast until golden brown and crispy. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, mix sweet pistachio cream, tahini, and sea salt. Fold in the cooled kataifi.
  3. Chop chocolate and melt using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring often.
  4. Spoon melted chocolate into a silicone mold, coating the sides. Chill to set the shell.
  5. Add pistachio-kataifi filling into the shell, pressing lightly to fill corners.
  6. Top with remaining melted chocolate and smooth the surface. Tap to release air bubbles.
  7. Chill until firm. Unmold and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Let kataifi cool fully before mixing. Use real chocolate for best results. Don’t rush the chill time for perfect texture.
