Dubai Chocolate Strawberries

Dubai chocolate strawberries recipe in a dessert cup

This trendy take on chocolate-covered strawberries combines juicy berries, toasted kataifi, creamy pistachio butter, and silky chocolate. It’s a textural dream inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate bar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries, halved lengthwise
  • 1 cup kataifi pastry, thawed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio butter
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Cut in half lengthwise and set aside.
  2. If kataifi is frozen, thaw until pliable and chop into small pieces.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add kataifi and toast, stirring constantly, until golden and fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in pistachio butter and tahini until fully coated. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate chips with optional coconut oil in 30-second microwave bursts, stirring until smooth.
  6. In a 12-ounce clear serving cup, layer strawberry halves cut side down. Drizzle with melted chocolate.
  7. Add a layer of kataifi-pistachio mixture and press down gently.
  8. Repeat layering: strawberries, chocolate, and kataifi mix—up to three layers.
  9. Finish with a drizzle of chocolate and a sprinkle of crushed pistachios.
  10. Chill cups in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to set. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use super dry strawberries to keep the chocolate from seizing. Toast kataifi carefully and let the filling cool before layering for best texture and appearance.
