Homemade Shake Shack Dubai Chocolate Milkshake Recipe in cracked chocolate shell

This viral chocolate milkshake blends Middle Eastern flair with Shake Shack indulgence—creamy vanilla custard ice cream, rich pistachio cream, toasted kataifi crunch, and a snap-worthy chocolate shell.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp canola or refined coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 2/3 cup kataifi (shredded phyllo dough)
  • 1 1/2 cups custard-style vanilla ice cream (e.g. Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla)
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 heaping tbsp pistachio cream
  • 5 tbsp toasted kataifi
  • Optional: chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt dark chocolate with oil until glossy. Swirl inside a plastic cup and freeze upside down.
  2. Melt butter, honey, and salt in a pan. Add kataifi and stir constantly until golden. Let cool.
  3. Blend ice cream, milk, pistachio cream, and 5 tbsp kataifi until thick and smooth.
  4. Pour shake into chocolate-lined cup. Top with kataifi and crushed pistachios. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Freeze leftovers in cups and re-blend with milk when needed.
