Honey Lemon and Ginger Tea Recipe

Honey lemon and ginger tea recipe – steaming cup with lemon and ginger slices

This honey lemon and ginger tea recipe is my go-to remedy for everything from the sniffles to stress—simple, soothing, and full of healing vibes. Inspired by comforting memories and wellness rituals, it’s a quick yet powerful brew that nourishes body and soul.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium piece of fresh ginger root (about 2 inches), sliced thinly
  • 2 cups fresh water
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice ginger root thinly. Lightly crush slices to release flavor.
  2. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Add ginger slices to the simmering water and let steep for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in raw honey and lemon juice.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy immediately, or store leftovers for up to 3 days.

Notes

Use only fresh ginger and lemon for the best results. Never add honey while the tea is boiling—wait until it’s off the heat to preserve nutrients and flavor.
